How we are paid
As a company, we are paid for the work we undertake on your behalf by fees, commission or a combination of both. This very much depends on the type and level of work required and assuming you wish to appoint us as your professional advisers, this would be agreed at the end of our preliminary meeting.
There is no charge for this preliminary meeting and no obligation on either side.
Many of our clients decide to join the Statehouse Retainer Scheme, which consists of a monthly fee payment to provide access to a tailor-made support service and our in-house asset management system. Further details are available on request.
For mortgage advice you can choose how we are paid: you can either pay us a fee, usually between £200 and 1% of the loan amount depending on the circumstances, or we can accept commission direct from the lender.
